Why Local Flowers

Local flowers have a longer vase life and are more fragrant than imported flowers. They include seasonal flowers that cannot be found or sourced anywhere else. When you buy local flowers, you can feel good knowing they were grown ethically, sustainably, and without harsh pesticides.

Imported flowers hurt our environment and our economy. They are coated with chemicals (intended to prevent diseases from traveling overseas), and are frequently grown using unethical labor practices and nasty pesticides. In addition to that, their transportation methods emit over 350,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere in January and February alone.
